This class is also for Bronze-level dancers not yet comfortable with the basic patterns and techniques of dance, or more advanced dancers new to a particular dance and/or style. Basic school figures will be taught, with an emphasis on listening to the music, learning the timing, and developing a comfort ability in working with your dance partner.

Beyond Beginner Class: (Level II) Students at this level must demonstrate a sound foundation in footwork, timing, lead & follow techniques, musicality, and dance terminology in at least the six main dances. Students should have 1-2 years of formal instruction, and dance socially on a regular basis.
Intermediate/Advanced Class: (Level II +) This level class will be more intensive. The figures will be more complex and challenging. Students should be dancing socially regularly, and must have completed at least 2-3 years of dance instruction on a regular basis. Knowledge of the more popular dances is essential.
Classes are taught on Monday and Tuesday evenings year-round - see schedule above. All classes are group classes and will run for four weeks (exceptions noted above), covering one dance.
